FurShield is a full-stack pet care platform designed to bring several everyday pet-care workflows into one connected system.
Pet owners can manage pet profiles, health information, reminders and appointments from a dedicated dashboard. Veterinarians work through a role-specific interface for patient and appointment activity, while animal shelters support adoption discovery and related workflows.
The public side of the platform extends beyond account management with veterinarian discovery, adoption listings, educational pet-care content and product browsing.
The product was built around a clear separation between public and authenticated experiences, with role-aware access and interfaces shaped around the tasks each user needs to complete.

Approach
How the project came together.
FurShield was developed as a modular Laravel application with distinct public and authenticated experiences.
The application architecture was organized around three primary user roles: pet owner, veterinarian and animal shelter. Role-based access controls which areas and actions are available to each user while keeping the workflows connected within one platform.
Reusable interface patterns were applied across dashboards, pet profiles, appointments and public discovery pages to create a consistent experience. Responsive layouts were also implemented so important owner workflows remain usable across desktop and mobile devices.
